Gippsland’s local TAFE is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic TESOL expert to join our Foundation Teaching Team. About the Role

Our Foundation Teaching team delivers across a multitude of entry-level courses in spoken and written English, transition education, work education and general education. We are seeking a TESOL expert to deliver within our Spoken and Written English programs from preliminary level through to Certificate III level. As a Teacher, you will deliver high quality training and assessment, develop innovative resources and assessment materials, and undertake educational administration. You will provide students with the skills, knowledge, support and advice required to enable them to live, study and work within the community.

Mandatory Requirements:

  • A recognised university undergraduate degree or higher or equivalent, and a recognised AQF8 or higher TESOL qualification or equivalent;

OR

A recognised university undergraduate degree or higher in education or equivalent with a TESOL major;

  • Experience in adult education
  • TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus TAEASS502 and TAELLN411; or TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment; or a commitment to undertake the qualification;
  • Current Driver’s Licence;
  • Current Victorian Working with Children Check; and
  • Current Police check (not older than 12 months)
